Easy Chai Tea Latte

Everyone loves a good cup of tea now and then. If you are not a tea drinker, this recipe will convert you! I have been replacing my morning cup of coffee with this tea because I am trying to cut down on the amount of caffeine that I consume. With this tea, I don’t even miss that morning coffee! The tea is slow brewed for deep rich flavor with a winning combination of spices. Make a big batch because you will want more and more! It’s also delicious iced.

Don’t forget to share it with your family, my teenage boys love it! It’s so much healthier than soda, and very inexpensive to make.

The coconut milk really makes this tea amazing! You can also try Almond Milk, but I highly recommend the coconut milk. There are so many good health benefits to this tea! This combination of spices has been around for ages in the middle east and is known to have benefits such as blood purification, aids in digestion, aids the nervous system, strengthens the bones, and gives you increased energy. Did I mention that it’s low calorie? It is! Honestly, it’s a win, win!

This month’s Ultimate Recipe Challenge is Pasta! We love Pasta at our house, it’s a thing of men. The more I make it, the more they eat it. Pasta is especially satisfying in our cool climate, and we eat it at least once a week.URC-Pasta-Collage

I have teamed up with some very talented bloggers for this Ultimate Recipe Challenge, you are going to love all these delicious Pasta ideas!

Chicken Alfredo on Blue Willow plate @designerssweetspot.com

I make Pasta once a week for the menfolk at our house. I cook both gluten free noodles and the regular variety to accommodate  those on special diets. My favorite gluten free Pasta is the Quinoa variety. It cooks the best and doesn’t have the sticky residue that rice base pastas have. It tastes just like the regular pasta, you may not even know the difference!

Recently, we went on a tour with 57 high school students as the cooks for the group. This Gluten Free Chicken Alfredo dish sold out completely! I had people asking me for the recipe, so here it is!
