Cricut projects are taking over the DIY world! I’m a huge fan of the Cricut machine and the versatility it provides. I recently heard that the Cricut machine can be used to cut lightweight woods to create more dimension in your projects! I decided to take a look around and see what others have created using this method. In the process, I came across a few other beautiful projects that involve wood so I thought I would share.
This beautiful sign is a perfect example of using wood with the Cricut machine to create a unique project. Love Create Celebrate shares an amazing tutorial on how to craft a beautiful sign of your own over on her blog.
Newton Custom Interiors designed this fun piece using an existing wood sign she bought at a retailer. If you have a wood sign that you’re not loving, maybe you should check this project out and recycle it into a piece you’ll display with pride.
If you’ve been on Pinterest in the past year, I guarantee you’ve seen a sign similar to this one. Christina’s Adventures made one for herself (along with a few other beautiful signs), if you’ve been wanting a farmhouse sign of your own this tutorial is for you.
Although this project could be created using vinyl cutouts, My Sister’s Suitcase preferred the dimension that wood cutouts provide. She used multiple materials to create this sign and shares the pros and cons of them all.

I couldn’t help but include this precious sign made by A Turtle’s Life for Me. She used this as decor during a baby shower but it also doubles as a gift for the new mama! What a precious idea!
