The temperatures have dropped all of a sudden.
It feels like summer is gone, and fall is here. Change is eminent.
I saw my first red leaf the other day.
Today, I drove by a farm stand selling bushels of pumpkins.
The wind has turned cool, and I am craving hot cider and pumpkin pie.
Around here, we are used to changes. I love to paint things on a whim. You may have seen our front door looking like this a while back. Can you say “BLAH?”
The next thing you know…………
…..the door has changed color. I am craving color. Lots of color.
Color is eminent at our house too.
I was captivated by this beautiful blue paint by Modern Masters.
It is specifically formulated for front doors, it won’t peel or fade. This is important when you live in a harsh climate like Wisconsin.
I must say I loved how smoothly the paint went on our front door. It was easy to fill in all the nooks and crannies.
Our door has lots of nooks and crannies.
I could use a lot more “calm” in my life. In fact, I have more doors to paint. I liked this door so much I decided to paint my back door too. Who says Front Door paint is only for front doors?
The blue looks completely fabulous with my orange and brown fall wreath. I also think it emphasizes the leaded glass window in the door.
I tucked the little owl in the wreath for good measure. It’s a sign of more fall things to come.
